$100 (sliding scale, service donations and scholarships available)

In order to achieve social, political and economic justice we must continually evolve our strategies for organizing and action. Art is a powerful political tool, but how can it be used for concrete action? Can creative expression be used to develop strategies for organizing?

Theatre of the Oppressed offers tools not only to communicate about an issue, but also to brainstorm new strategies for action! Join us as we explore these creative techniques that help us build movements towards social change.

Register today! Sliding scale and scholarships are available.

Kind Words

In 2012’s Image to Action workshop we were joined by several organizers from the Anti-Violence Project. See what Justin Rosado, Lead Organizer at AVP had to say about their participation.

Learning from talented and informed facilitators and working with amazing participants allowed me to gain new skills that will undoubtedly help our us engage our community members in creative thought around safety issues we face. Thank you, from AVP staff, and the constituency we serve.
