Are you a community organizer, political activist or social worker? Do you organize individuals and communities to mobilize for justice? Do you want more creative tools to make change?
In order to achieve social, political and economic justice we must continually evolve our strategies for organizing and action. Art is a powerful political tool, but how can it be used for concrete action? Can creative expression be used to develop strategies for organizing? Theatre of the Oppressed offers a wide array of techniques that explore strategies to address oppression. In this workshop you will learn how to TO can be used as a tool to develop concrete plans of action to face oppression and change the world.
