TFP Feature – What’s the T?! 2Join Whats the T?! A theatre program by and for LGBTQ youth in Brooklyn!

Do you identify as queer, trans*, lesbian, bisexual or gay?
Are you a young person between the ages of 13 24?
Do you live in Brooklyn?

Take the stage! Make a difference!

SONY DSCTheatre is a powerful tool that can transform the world! This is the chance to share your stories, your voice and your ideas on stage to help put an end to anti-LGBTQ bias.

Help make a difference through theatre. Apply to be part of What’s the T?! a theatre program for LGBTQ youth, a collaboration of TheForum Project and the Brooklyn Community Pride Center.

You have a voice! Make it heard!

As a member of What’s the T?! you will work with other LGBTQ youth to share your stories about anti-LGBTQ bias, write plays based on your experiences, perform and have conversations with audiences about the issues.

Were looking for young LGBTQ people ages 13 to 24 and live in Brooklyn. You must be interested in theatre and in exploring important issues. All participants must be able to commit to the schedule below:

Saturday, April 25, 11 AM to 4 PM (lunch included)
Sunday, April 26, 11 AM to 4 PM (lunch included)
Tuesday, April 28, 4 PM to 6 PM
Tuesday, May 1, 4 PM to 6 PM
Tuesday, May 5, 4 PM to 6 PM
Tuesday, May 12, 4 PM to 6 PM
Tuesday, May 19, 4 PM to 6 PM
Tuesday, May 26, 4 PM to 6 PM
Sunday, May 31, 11 AM to 4 PM (lunch included)
Tuesday, June 2, 4 PM to 6 PM
PERFORMANCE: Tuesday, June 9, evening (exact time to be determined)
Additional performance dates in June to be determined
